# 🌸 Cherry Blossoms & Regrets: Chihaya Hihime Cosplay Photo Diary 🌸

✨ The Ephemeral Beauty of Cherry Blossoms ✨

Hello lovely readers! Today I’m super excited to share my recent outdoor cherry blossom photoshoot featuring my cosplay of Chihaya Hihime from the visual novel “Sister Princess 2”! This was definitely an impromptu session that came together at the last minute, but sometimes the most magical moments happen when least expected~

It was truly a race against time as the cherry blossoms were already beginning to fall. I had no specific plan when starting this outdoor photoshoot, but somehow we managed to capture Chihaya’s essence among the delicate pink petals before they completely disappeared for the season!

💭 Chihaya’s Melancholic Words 💭

“Please don’t ask about these things anymore. I’m already regretting everything as much as I can.”

“But I’m the one who forced myself into this difficult situation. If there’s no other way to be forgiven, then nothing can be undone now.”

These poignant lines perfectly capture Chihaya’s complex emotions - her struggle with regret and the consequences of her own choices. While taking these outdoor photos, I tried to embody her emotional depth against the backdrop of falling cherry blossoms. The contrast between her melancholy and nature’s ephemeral beauty created a magical atmosphere that I hope comes through in these photos!

👗 Costume Details 👗

Getting this costume together was quite a challenge! The order faced some manufacturing issues, so it couldn’t be delivered on time. Additionally, my eyes were a bit swollen on the day of shooting which made the double-eyelid tape keep falling off (so frustrating! 😩). Despite these setbacks, we persevered!

💕 About Chihaya Hihime 💕

For those unfamiliar with the character, Chihaya Hihime is from “Sister Princess 2,” one of my earliest introductions to the visual novel genre. She’s the perfect “big sister” type - elegant, composed, but harboring deep emotions beneath her calm exterior. Portraying someone so complex yet refined was both challenging and rewarding!

🌸 Final Thoughts 🌸

Phew~ This spontaneous outdoor photoshoot is finally complete! Without any planning, we somehow managed to finish just before the cherry blossoms completely faded away. Cosplaying as Chihaya was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I’m so happy to have brought this perfect “big sister” character to life in my own way among the beautiful cherry trees!

Of course, there are still aspects I’m not completely satisfied with - the costume issues, my swollen eyes, and some creative blocks during the outdoor shoot. Hopefully, I can improve on these points next time! (Time to rest now though~ 😴)
