🧙‍♀️ The Ordinary Magician’s Christmas Adventure 🧙‍♀️

Hello everyone! I’m super excited to share my Christmas-themed outdoor photoshoot as Marisa Kirisame from Touhou Project! As Marisa would say: “It ain’t magic if it ain’t flashy!” - and I think we definitely captured her magical energy in these photos~

💫 “Marisa Stole the Precious Thing~” 💫

If you’re familiar with Touhou Project, you’ll know that Marisa is famous for her… um, “borrowing” habits! As she likes to say, she’s just borrowing things (forever)! For this photoshoot, I wanted to capture that mischievous side of her character with the theme “Marisa stole the precious thing~”

Marisa Kirisame is an ordinary human magician who lives in the Forest of Magic. She’s known for her straightforward personality, incredible work ethic, and signature black-and-white witch outfit. Though she’s sometimes described as “disagreeable,” she’s also a very self-confident person who “likes to stick her nose into every trouble out of curiosity.” I’ve always loved her determination to improve her magical abilities through hard work rather than relying on natural talent!

🎄 Christmas Witch in the Snow ❄️

Combining Marisa’s classic witch aesthetic with Christmas elements was so much fun! Her black and white color scheme contrasts beautifully with the festive holiday decorations. As “an ordinary human magician” and “proprietor of the Kirisame Magic Shop,” Marisa uses “Light and Heat magic in combat along with a variety of magical bombs, her broom, and a device called the Mini-Hakkero.” I made sure to include her Mini-Hakkero and broom as essential props!

This photoshoot was actually quite rushed! I had heard about Photographer Cici’s amazing skills, and once I got confirmation of the available date, I quickly made all the arrangements. Everything was prepared within just one week! I hope the final results are satisfying to everyone~

💕 Why I Love Marisa 💕

Marisa is absolutely my most favorite character in the entire Touhou Project series. Being able to finally bring her to life through cosplay is truly a dream come true for me. Thank you to Photographer Cici for helping me make this dream a reality!

And I’ll whisper a little secret… I got the apple! (Touhou fans will understand this reference!)
